Everything in life worth having requires an investment, and your love life is no different. It’s time to put aside the thoughts that love should ‘just happen’ and there’s never a better time to do that than December. Say ‘yes’ to all the party invitations that come your way because unless you’re out there meeting people then finding your ideal partner is just not going to happen and you’ll end up disheartened and feeling like it’s just all too much like hard work.

Christmas is just around the corner and if you’re starting to feel the loneliness of being single getting to you then I’ve got a few tips to help you through.

I remember one year spending Christmas on my own wrapped up under a blanket on the sofa with just the TV and chocolate for company. I even cooked myself a Christmas dinner which lasted for 5 days (have you ever tried to cook Christmas dinner for one?!)….

Well, that one was enough for me and from there I vowed never to do that again.
